Araiza Trucking Company is a family-run motor carrier running drayage out of the Port of Houston terminals — on the appointment, not two hours after it. Eleven tractors, ten drivers, and a real person who answers the phone.
Who we are
We're based on East Texas Avenue in Baytown — twenty minutes from the Bayport and Barbours Cut gates. That location is the whole business model: short turns, fewer surprises, and drivers who know which terminal lanes back up and when.
Araiza Trucking has held active interstate operating authority since September 2020 and hauls general freight and intermodal containers with a mix of owned and term-leased tractors. Dispatch is handled in-house. Nobody at this company has to ask a call center where your box is.
What we do
Port work is the core of the business. Storage and regional freight exist because customers kept asking us to hold a box for a week or run it past the metro.
01 / Drayage
Import pulls and export drops at the Port of Houston terminals, delivered to warehouses, transload facilities, and plants across the Houston metro.
02 / Yard
Somewhere to put the box when the warehouse isn't ready. Loaded or empty containers held on chassis or grounded, with the same crew that pulled it.
03 / Over the road
Freight that needs to go further than the port radius — up the I-10 and I-45 corridors and out across Texas and the Gulf South.
How a move runs

Container or booking number, terminal, last free day, and where it needs to go. We confirm we can cover it before you hear anything else.

Terminal appointment secured and matched to the consignee's receiving window, so the driver isn't sitting at a closed dock.

Pull, deliver, and status updates at the points that matter — gate out, arrival, unloaded — not a tracking link nobody reads.

Empty returned or street-turned to a new booking, with the interchange and paperwork closed out the same week.
